Welcome to my virtual ribbon cutting, my business birthday bash, my I’m-so-grateful-for-you-and-this-life party.
Okay. Here’s the skinny.
Today, Friday and Saturday there will be separate blog posts with different giveaways and new ways to win. Don’t worry if you miss a day because I won’t choose winners until after midnight PST on Sunday.
Because I know some of you have been curious but aren’t quiiiiiiiite sure what an energy or space clearing entails, I’ve got specials happening all weekend.
Ready to let go of what’s dragging you down and head into fall feeling lighter and brighter? Pay for a Fresh Start today through Sunday and get 20% off!
Curious about what a space clearing can do for you and your business or family? Schedule your 15-minute Space Clearing consultation* today through Sunday and IF you decide to hire me to clear your space, you’ll get 20% off that too!
*Special note: This is a free, no-pressure consult. I’m not into convincing you to do something you don’t want to do. That just feels yucky. And you don’t need to talk with me this weekend, you just need to reserve your time for us to talk in the next few weeks.
3. Party Favors!
EVERYONE who comments on any of the three posts will get a short Oracle card reading from me as thank you for showing up. This isn’t going to predict your future or tell you what to do next, but it will give you something to think about, meditate on, or provide insight into a current situation in your life. Plus it’ll be fun!
Okay – now for the gifts!
Today’s giveaways are….(imagine a drum roll here):
I love Lori Portka’s work. Her mission to spread happiness through art makes me, well…happy. What better way to remind yourself (or someone you love) how beautiful and worthy they are than with these gorgeous flags?
Taking Vivienne McMaster’s Be Your Own Beloved class helped change the way I see myself and certainly changed my relationship with the camera. Beloved Beginnings is her gentle introduction to seeing yourself with love by taking self-portraits. This is an on-demand e-course that’s ready and waiting for you.
A Calliope Woman (a.k.a Audrey) is a beautiful mama at my daughter’s school. She pours so much love into her products and has a huge fan club in Ventura. A group of us were at the beach last week and I kept hearing people ask, “Have you put your Audrey-sunscreen on yet?” This gift includes a Love and Light Sunscreen, Herbal Healing Salve, Arnica Massage Pain Relief Rub and a trial size of her Dream Oil Temple Rub.
To enter, leave a comment below and share something you’re celebrating, something you’re grateful for, or tell me a little about someone you’re remembering right now. Entries close at midnight Pacific Standard Time on Sunday August 3rd.
For any men out there who are feeling that these gifts are weighted toward women, I invite you to enter for lots of reasons, not the least of which is that I have a special gift that will be included should you win.
UPDATE: the gift winners are…
I Am prayer flags – Roos
Beloved Beginnings e-course – Heather
A Calliope Woman gift bag – Lisa D.
It will take me a little while to get all of your oracle card readings done. Please be patient and trust that you’ll get exactly what you need at exactly the right moment.
Thank you again for playing with me. My heart is full.
celebrating another rotation around the sun with simple, sacred family rituals.
I love that Melissa. Simple, sacred family rituals. Yes.

This is a wonderful idea! With these gifts, you’ve introduced me to some possibilities that I was not aware of…..thanks! Jeannie
I’m so glad! Thank you for being here.
Thanks Alana for sheering your moments of grace experienced during your most intensive pain. Lost both my kids in a accident & my mom. Been there..
Oh Santi. Deep bow to you for still showing up for life after such unimaginable loss. Makes my heart ache and fills me with wonder at your strength and grace.
Congratulations on turning life’s ups and downs into a party. You’re a constant source of inspiration in how to do that. Meanwhile, I’m grateful for today’s realisation that gaining control over food has given me control over my emotions. I didn’t realise that was possible, but it’s a gift, considering the places I’ve been. I’m oh so glad to be back!
Casey – I’m happy dancing over here for you. It’s been beautiful to witness you “coming back” in so many ways over the last few years.
Grateful for your inspiration on my grief journey. I celebrate the gift of having my daughter Megan for 31 beautiful years! Forever loved, gone too soon. Thank you for this fun party idea!
Sharon – I’m sending you the warmest hug. 31 years is way too soon. Thank you for letting us share in your remembering and celebrating today.
Love your work! Love your way of celebrating! Love seeing this arm of your business grow! Time to book another clearing with the discount, thanks!
Thanks Jenn! I’ve loved being witness to your growth too – you are one amazing woman.
It has been a very FULL on 4 years. I am not sure i am ready to celebrate anything more than still hanging in there..~laughing~ ( maybe grateful for my sense of humor)
But I am delighted that you are coming out the other side!
I’m celebrating your lovely presence in my life Sorrow and the way you always (always) make me smile with your words. So yes to that sense of humor and your ability to see life in all its wonder.
I feel myself being drawn into Alana Land. And that’s a good thing. You’ve been on my mind, and in my dreams recently. Time to follow and see where it leads…
Oh you’re cracking me up! Alana Land. Hee hee. Welcome Sam, I’m so glad you’re here. 🙂

After 4 very long, traumatic and stressful days I am grateful to have finally gotten enough sleep in one sitting to feel emotionally stable again.
Sending a huge hug and wishes for ease soon. xoxo

I don’t have the appropriate words, Alana…
I will try to put coherent thoughts together later today.

I am constantly celebrating all the major shifts I’ve had since the end of mercury retrograde. I feel lighter, like I can finally take a deep, full breath.
I can feel the lightness in your words Erica. Cheers to those deep breaths!
Congratulations on your birthday bash. I am remembering my lovely husband who I miss so much. After four years find myself back to struggling. Being kind with myself and taking baby steps again. Hoping for happiness again. Hugs xx
Sending you so much love as you walk the spiral of life and grief. I’m glad you’re being kind to yourself. xoxo
Alana, I have been reading your wisdom words for several years. I do not remember how I was directed to you but I do know that I have appreciated your insight, your honesty, your telling of your story. As a cancer patient, there is a grief I feel for “what could have been” because cancer has robbed me of those opportunities to go about my life as I wanted. However, cancer has also opened up life to me: how precious life is, don’t waste my time on things that don’t really matter, enjoy moments every day, and to be grateful. Today I am most grateful after a visit with my oncologist for a good report from scans. No new Growths! I will breathe and relax ( and let’s party!) before going into the next phase of treatment. Thank you for listening.
No new growths! What a huge celebration. Thank you so much for sharing that here so we can join you in that huge hooray! xoxo
Angie Graves says
Thank you Alana! I am celebrating this very breath, new beginnings, possibility and progress today!
Oooh – I LOVE those celebrations Angie!
Congratulations, Alana! I saw this shared on Lori’s facebook page and am bookmarking your site.
I’m celebrating a newfound sense of purpose and passion in my life and I’m so grateful for all these beautiful, inspiring connections that continue to be shared with me. 🙂
Welcome Jill. And a huge YES to purpose and passion!

This is so much fun and so exciting! I am grateful for some friends who have stepped in to help me in a time of need. I wouldn’t know what to do without them and they restored my faith in the human race.
Your new site looks fabulous!
Thank you Sheila. Yay for those kinds of friends!
What can I say? I am an Alana fan. It doesn’t matter how you recreate your life, which by the way, congratulations on your new venture! I am enrolled, sign me up, it’s going to be good!
Thanks for being a shining example of following your heart and allowing your heart to change it’s course – so cool.
One more thing, it’s beautiful to see your change in direction in your pictures. They are beautiful and resonate such peace and serenity.
Thank you Beth. It’s so good to hear from you. I figure if I follow my heart, I can’t go wrong. I really appreciate you coming along for the ride! xoxo
The comments above are leaving me speechless. You have managed to gather such an inspiring community around you and I applaud you for that! Over the past 4 years, you have continued to be such an inspiration for me and I thank you for that!!!
I’m grateful for love. That might sound ‘simple’, but to really acknowledge love in its purest form has taken me a lifetime it seems. It’s there and I’m more than willing to embrace it.
Sending you my love,
My beautiful friend. Love might sound simple but we both know how profound it is. The inspiration goes both ways. xx
Renee Laux says
I am grateful for finding a trainer that is kind and caring and is helping me with stabilizing blood sugars after getting my diagnosis of autoimmune diabetes. She shows me that I can do this 🙂
Renee – what a gift to find that kind of support. Cheering you on over here – yes! You can do this!
I’ve been celebrating wholeness! Acknowledging my own growth, self care, and focusing on my values
Wholeness. I love that Erica. You are a shining example of it and the work you do will help bring wholeness to the next generation and the world at large.

I feel blessed to have found inspirational women online who helped me realize I am worthy, lovable and loved and that I have a light I can share with the world!
You most definitely do! Shine bright.
(And I’m wondering if you meant to leave this comment on the Day 2 giveaways?)
So this is for the memory of Paula who so would have love this type of giveaway! I continue the tradition in her honor
Thank you for remembering Paula here Eileen.
i’m grateful for a friend who makes space for me to just be, to expose the tender, raw and often fearful parts of me. i am so lucky to have her in my life!
Today, I’m celebrating finding back my footing. I have felt like being swept along by the stream of life, unable to feel that it was MY choice where I was or what I did for far to many moments of the days.
I’m not there yet, but even these little moments of really standing and making my own choices consiously and deliberately feel so good!
Here’s to standing in your power and choosing Doris! Celebrating those moments with you.
Today I’m celebrating and grateful for how exquisitely I’m taken care of by The Universe….it might not always look the way I want it to, but it’s undeniable.
I love you Alana! <3
Isn’t it amazing?
I love you too!
tricia Michael says
I’m remembering my dad right now, and wishing he were here. Things would not be so hard if he wasn’t gone, he always helped no matter what. I just miss him, I wish I could pick up the phone and call.
Wishing you ease Tricia. And a warm hug when you need it most. xo
I’m celebrating that it’s the weekend, and I finally have some free time to do with as I please. This is unusual for me because, typically, I’m loaded down with work concerns or having to be a full-time parent. But, today, I’m committed to worrying about work on another day, and my son is spending time with his dad. I’m celebrating the joy of having time to myself. Woo-hoo!

celebrating the space that this time of year can bring, and the desire to clean, nest, clear out, and play with my child.
ah, everything is new and glorious.
Debbie Grace says
Your party is such a lovely idea, Alana!
I am grateful that I found a lovely way to take really good care of myself during a very vulnerable day. Friday, while in the midst of some old grief surfacing, I wrote a love letter to the little one who still lives inside of my heart. The whole process was healing balm. <3
