Oh my goodness! I’ve been in tears reading the comments on yesterday’s post. Thank you all for showing up and sharing what’s on your hearts and minds. I knew you were all amazing – thank you for proving it to me again and again.
If you’ve already read yesterday’s post, scroll down to see today’s giveaways. If you missed yesterday, read all the way through today and then click the link at the bottom to enter Thursday’s drawings. Remember you have ’til Sunday at midnight PST to comment.
Here’s how this virtual shindig works:
1. Gifts!
Thursday, Friday and Saturday there will be separate blog posts with different giveaways and new ways to win. Don’t worry if you miss a day because I won’t choose winners until after midnight PST on Sunday.
2. Discounts!
Because I know some of you have been curious but aren’t quiiiiiiiite sure what an energy or space clearing entails, I’ve got specials happening all weekend.
Ready to let go of what’s dragging you down and head into fall feeling lighter and brighter? Pay for a Fresh Start Thursday through Sunday and get 20% off!
Curious about what a space clearing can do for you and your business or family? Schedule your 15-minute Space Clearing consultation* Thursday through Sunday and IF you decide to hire me to clear your space, you’ll get 20% off that too!
*Special note: This is a free, no-pressure consult. I’m not into convincing you to do something you don’t want to do. That just feels yucky. And you don’t need to talk with me this weekend, you just need to reserve your time for us to talk in the next few weeks.
3. Party Favors!
EVERYONE who comments on any of the three posts will get a short Oracle card reading from me as thank you for showing up. This isn’t going to predict your future or tell you what to do next, but it will give you something to think about, meditate on, or provide insight into a current situation in your life. Plus it’ll be fun!
Okay – now for today’s giveaways!
Kristin Noelle of Trust Tending is a dear friend and a kindred soul. Her art always makes me breathe more deeply and helps me pause in the midst of my day to soak in the truth of her image and words. Blessings is ten days of trust-nourishing, heart-opening art delivered right to your inbox. I’ve got two of these to give away.
Sat Nishan Kaur has been a huge gift in my life. Her Reiki treatments helped me through the last weeks of my pregnancy with Ben and the healing afterward. She’s an incredible Kundalini yoga teacher and I’ve been taking classes with her for over 3 years now. She’s also a beautiful singer and musician. This CD of songs and chants has accompanied me through many of life’s ups and downs. We even had Sat Nishan and her husband perform her song Hallelujah at the celebration on the first anniversary of Ben’s death. This music has the power to heal the soul.
Elizabeth Reynolds of Lux Amare is a Master Aromatherapist and all around magician with essential oils. I’ve used her Luxury Skin Care Oil on my face for three years now and my skin has never been healthier or had more glow. (And even though I thought my oily skin would react horribly to an oil cleanser, it’s been the complete opposite – I have fewer breakouts than I’ve had since hitting puberty). I’ve used all her Chakra oils and I adore her Wellness blends. I’m giving away her uplifting Inspiration blend along with a trial size of the Luxury Skin Care Oil. So yummy.
For your chance to win one of today’s gifts, leave a comment below sharing one (or more) blessings in your life, or a particular way you feel loved, held or blessed.

Blessings Healing Wave – Terryll
Surrender CD – Erica
Lux Amare spray + skin care – Doris
It will take me a while to get to everyone’s oracle card readings, so please be patient and trust that you’ll get exactly what you need, when you need it.
Thank you all for celebrating with me. This was so much fun!
Roos says
The biggest blessing is my family and the fact that we are still with the four of us. Even writing that ‘out loud’ brings tears to my eyes. I know for sure that I’ll never take anything for granted anymore. Despite the odds, my husband is alive and my boys are thriving. They are giving a chance to get to know their father and, in turn, he is able to pass on this knowledge and life experience. And I get to watch it all and couldn’t be happier.
There is an old Zen saying “the grass grows by itself” and the more I surrender to that, the richer my life becomes.
P.s this giveaway is getting better and better! I love the music of Sat Nishan Kaur and would for sure like to try the facial products (because, yes, you always look great!)

It’s been heart-breaking and heart-opening to watch your family’s journey since Kenji’s diagnosis. The fact that you’re all together and thriving, not just surviving, brings tears to my eyes too.
Casey says
I am blessed to have found contentment through music and friendship. It was in finding kindred (musical) spirits that I began the journey back to myself. Above and beyond anything else, I believe that the most important thing in this life is to reach for contentment, whatever that might mean to you. I’ve filled my time with ways that worked, but I now realise weren’t that sustainable. This kind of contentment is something I can live with and maintain.
Little off-topic, but thanks for the space to share.
Love,
Casey
Alana says
I love this Casey and really, it’s not off-topic at all.
Pamela says
I’m blessed with enough. I constantly doubt this and I am always proven wrong
Alana says
Such a simple, powerful statement. Beautiful.
danette says
This brought tears, Pamela…it resonates SO deeply.
Mary Ellington says
I’m blessed by the love and prayers of people I don’t even know. I had no idea social media could provide so much positive energy.
Alana says
Isn’t it amazing, Mary? Social media can be such a force for good. xoxo
Sheila Bergquist says
I’m blessed with finding wonderful sites that give me encouragement and make me feel less alone. Life is hard and we all need support and sometimes it’s hard to find, but there are so many wonderful souls in the world who want to share their stories and help others and that is a blessing.
Alana says
I’ve found that too Sheila – the online world can be a beautiful place. I’m so glad you’ve found support there.
teryll says
i’m blessed by the written word. sometimes what i cannot adequately express in words others can do for me….that is a gift and i am forever grateful for it.
Alana says
I love this! And yes, me too. The written word has played a huge part in shaping who I am and how I walk through the world.
Doris says
Ah, blessings. Finding a clearly just-dropped-out-of-a-pocket ironed and folded cloth handkerchief on the pavement on a day that I could have cried a whole lot more than I did. At the time, I interpreted as: if you need to cry, here is something to dry those tears. Looking back, it feels more like: dry your tears, it’s time to stop crying and start acting. Both ways it felt like a wink from the universe 🙂
And the bigger things: financial security, knowing myself better and better, finding people like you.
Thank you.
Alana says
I love those winks. And how fun that you can interpret it whichever way feels best to you.
Deb Montgomery says
I am Blessed to have discovered the power of truly loving myself and letting my light shine through!
Alana says
Yay! So lovely.
Erica Cosminsky says
Choosing a blessing to give was such hard work. Food has been a major life issue for me and after finding out how much of it was hurting me, I have to be very grateful to so many healthy and wonderful food options. I dream of the day I can stay gardening in a backyard that would be mine.
I also love the quote Roos shared “the grass grows on its own.” That’s one of my favorites. 🙂
Alana says
I’ll hold that vision for you Erica – I can see you in that garden in your sunhat now.
danette says
I am blessed by being here right now. Here on your blog Alana, and here in this time and space. I’m blessed by being open to what is. I’m blessed by beautiful people with amazing hearts who I both know, and don’t know. I’m just blessed. Thank you for asking <3
Alana says
I’m blessed to know you, lovely. Thank you for being here.
Amy says
The biggest blessing in my life is my son, Oliver, who is 4.5-years-old. He is my little buddy. Although I share joint custody with his father, I am the primary physical custodian of this hugely spirited child. And I feel loved when he wants to snuggle with me before going to sleep. Holding him in my arms, I can’t help but be thankful for such a beautiful gift from God.
Alana says
This makes me smile Amy. I feel so blessed by my daughter too. Those snuggles are the best.
Debbie Grace says
I am deeply grateful for how blessed I am to have been raised with the concept of the communion of saints.
Especially during those times when I’m struggling and not sure of the love around me – maybe because I’m out of sorts, maybe because those around me are struggling and have nothing left to give, and sometimes it’s both. When I remember, I take deep comfort in remembering those who have passed on before me, resting in the conviction that they still care deeply for (and about) me and continue to send love to me from wherever it is that they are. <3
(Friday's love letter to my wee self included the gentle reminder to look around me and trust they are with me. http://sister-aunties.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-love-letter-to-debbie-jo.html )
Alana says
So lovely Debbie. xoxo

I am blessed with the ability to notice flagrant, intimate beauty in nature, to feel connected with gaia as if she were a person in my life. I feel so lucky to be fed spiritually and emotionally by the sky, the soil, the trees and plants, even (some of!) the bugs, and creatures in my life. And I feel equally lucky that my backyard is my haven and partner in this feeding of my soul.
Alana says
I love this Anastasia – I always say that nature is my church. And your backyard is amazing!
