Welcome to Transformation Talk. Every Thursday for a year, starting in September 2012, I’ll post an interview with someone who is a force for good in the world. These men and women have either deepened their passion or found their calling after experiencing a loss, trauma or diagnosis.
I want to broaden the conversation around grief and its transformative power. My hope is that in their words you’ll find echoes of your story. In their inspired actions, you’ll see yourself and your immense possibility.
*Special Request: The technology of Skype is amazing and imperfect. Please listen with your heart and forgive the occasional blips on the screen.
Today’s interview is with Tova Gold, the vision and sparkle behind FindingMyMuchness.com. I love her story. She went from being a passionate entrepreneur in her twenties, to playing it safe in a (good) job after her company closed. It took the stillbirth of her two daughters, Sunshine and Daisy, the grief and the rainbow pregnancy that followed, to bring her back to herself, back to her “muchness”.
Running time is 32 minutes. Bio and link to download audio version are below. If you’re receiving this via email, click through the title to watch the video.

Tova Gold is a New York based artist and product designer. Due to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, her second pregnancy ended at 23.5 weeks with the loss of her identical twin girls, forever nicknamed Sunshine & Daisy. Her desire to re-find some form of joy while pregnant with her rainbow daughter led her to start wearing sparkly, colorful clothing to break the gray and darkness that surrounded her.
Though it seemed almost silly at the time, she found that infusing her world with light and color on the outside helped her connect with her light and color on the inside. After hearing the quote “I used to be much muchier, but then I lost my Muchness” Tova embarked on a self-imposed 30 Day Muchness Challenge, wearing sparkle and sharing her MuchnessMoments on Facebook. It launched The Muchness Movement, at FindingMyMuchness.com & it has grown to become her life’s work: To share the knowledge that there are beauty, light and healing in our little MuchnessMoments.
