Welcome to Transformation Talk. Every Thursday for a year, I’ll post an interview with someone who is a force for good in the world. These men and women have either deepened their passion or found their calling after experiencing a loss, trauma or diagnosis. My hope is that in their words you’ll find echoes of your story. In their inspired actions, you’ll see yourself and your immense possibility.
Today’s interview is with life coach + empowerment ninja Julie Barnes, who talks about her son’s death, grief and her “Oprah a-ha moment”.
Julie Barnes is a life coach and empowerment ninja! After suffering through several devastating life events, including the death of her 23-year-old son Chris to suicide, Julie had an aha moment: to look at these experiences as gifts to share with other women who are struggling to come out of the dark and into the light. Julie now helps women Claim Their Shine through one-on-one coaching and group coaching programs at www.claimyourshine.com.
If you know someone who would be an amazing interview, please email me at [email protected] with their name, contact information and a little about their story.
