Transformation Talk with Maryann Hesse

December 6, 2012 By Alana

Welcome to Transformation Talk. Every Thursday for a year, starting in September 2012, I’ll post an interview with someone who is a force for good in the world. These men and women have either deepened their passion or found their calling after experiencing a loss, trauma or diagnosis.

I want to broaden the conversation around grief and its transformative power. My hope is that in their words you’ll find echoes of your story. In their inspired actions, you’ll see yourself and your immense possibility.

*Special Request: The technology of Skype is amazing and imperfect. Please listen with your heart and forgive the occasional blips on the screen.

This week’s interview is with inspirational speaker, energy healer and coach Maryann Hesse (see full bio below). She talks about the lasting impact of a teenage experience on her relationships and well being, how her mother’s decline into dementia is affecting her, and how she sees clarity as an integral part of life and grief.

To take advantage of the special offer she makes in the video, email her at [email protected] with the subject title “Transformation Talk”. (Offer limited to the first 5 people. I will post here when it’s no longer available).

Running time is 28 minutes. If you’re reading this via email, click through the title to watch the video. I’m working on a way to include audio files for all the talks, for those who prefer to download and listen when on the move. Stay tuned!

Maryann Hesse is a Relationship Clarity Coach and Personal Power Expert, Intuitive Energy Healer, Inspirational Speaker and owner of Optimum Wellness Inc.

Her mission is to lovingly facilitate people to crystal clarity about their situation and their Next Step in their evolution.  Stress, overwhelm and indecision become a thing of the past as they OWN their personal power.

People who work with her experience lives that are creatively and personally fulfilling, while enjoying optimal health, longevity, and emotional well-being.  They freely and joyously express their unique Gifts to the world.

Her expertise of seeing and reading the energy of a situation is the foundation for facilitating people to be released organically from power struggles and self-defeating behaviors.  They move forward with confidence, experiencing peace and ease in all aspects of their lives.

Maryann is someone who is continuously evolving, learning, healing, dancing, hiking, doing yoga, and constantly reinventing herself. She can be counted on to know the best sources for dark chocolate, and marvels every day at the gift of Nature’s beauty and serenity as she continually falls more in love with life and the glory of her True Self.

She is a contributing author to: Empowered Voices: True Stories by Awakened Women.  Her chapter “My Journey Back to Love” takes the reader on a relationship journey from her teen years to the present, where she discovered the ultimate clarity in the relationship with herself.

She is a founding member of Essence Coaches LLC, an Enwaken Coach and Leadership Graduate, Reiki Master, Transformational Prayer Practitioner, Personal Fitness Trainer, YogaFit instructor, Certified Nutritional Consultant, and former high school business teacher.

She is passionate about helping people clarify the dynamics of their current situation and supporting them to reclaim and OWN their own Personal Power.

Transformation Talk with Julie Daley

This week’s interview is with teacher, writer and coach Julie Daley of Unabashedly Female. I sat watching it earlier this week, completely mesmerized by Julie’s wisdom, grace and her ability to be fully present. There is so much richness in these 26 minutes. Julie was a fundamental support in my early grief and I am deeply grateful to have her sharing her story here.

A dancer at heart, Julie would love nothing more than to live her life and do her work from the dance floor. Ten years in the practice of 5Rhythms has opened her to the joy and wildness that is at the heart of women’s creativity. A writer, teacher, coach, and yes, dancer, Julie savors life playing with her wee grandchildren & serving the women and men who are called to work with her.  Julie is happiest when she is breathing through her feet.

You can find her at Unabashedly Female, on Facebook and Twitter. To see her flower photos that we refer to in the video, click here.

Today’s interview is with artist, writer, photographer and coach Christa Gallopoulos of Carry It Forward. She is also the visionary behind WomenHeal: An Online Alliance. And she’s my friend. (see bio below)

I am honored to have her here, telling her story, pieces of which she is sharing publicly for the first time.

This is a longer interview (almost 32 minutes) so grab a cup of tea, a comfy seat, a quiet spot and hold this gift as it is given…with love.

Christa Gallopoulos is an intuitive artist/photographer/writer.  She brings all of that, her training as a Martha Beck Certified Life Coach, and more to her practice at Carry It Forward, where she helps people connect with their inner wisdom.

In 2012, she founded WomenHeal: an Online Alliance, a place where women will weave together a powerful and creative collective to foster healing in themselves, each other and the world.

Nothing brings her greater joy than seeing people discover all they can be, and all they have always been.   She believes that compassion is the answer to every question.

This week’s interview is with the fabulous Kyeli Smith of Connection Revolution. She is a storyteller, change-maker and edgewalker who is currently traveling the continent in an RV with her wife and business partner, Pace. We had so much fun in this interview despite Skype being a bit testy that day. Kyeli talks about the loss of a big dream, toxic relationships, the impact of a new physical disability and Ouija boards. Enjoy!

More about Kyeli:

Kyeli Smith (that’s me!) is co-leader of the Connection Revolution, teaching people to change the world through connection.

My wife is also my business partner – which is awesome – and together we work to foster love, tolerance, healing, communication, and personal growth.
I’m a writer, a witch, a lesbian, and an unschooling mom. I also sing in the shower, wear fantastic stripy socks, and believe in faeries.

P.S. The next Picking Up the Pieces Tele-Retreat starts November 20th. Wondering if it’s right for you? Schedule a free 15-minute Shift Session with me and find out.
